The giveaway was designed to encourage people to shop locally, with many wonderful prizes up for grabs during the month of March

The Newbridge Residents’ Forum is launching a March Madness Giveaway, which is to be a month-long celebration of local businesses and community spirit.

Thanks to the generous support of local businesses, there will be fantastic prizes up for grabs every day throughout March.

It offers locals the chance to win while highlighting the businesses that make Newbridge unique.

Newbridge Residents’ Forum is a team of seven dedicated volunteers: Catherine Connolly, Mark Pender, Kellie Walsh, Kayla Farrell, June Bagnall, Steph McDonnell and Gerry Walsh, and believes that small businesses are the heartbeat of the Newbridge community.

“This is more than just a giveaway — it’s a way to showcase the incredible range of businesses in Newbridge and encourage everyone to support local,” said Catherine Connolly.

“We’re so grateful to the businesses that have come on board, and we can’t wait to celebrate them throughout March.”

Some of the businesses participating are:  JRBS Meal for 2, Craft by Sam, Queen Infinity, Cill Dara Honey, Mani Pasta, Mini Mocha Bright Eyes Beauty, Eddie Rockets, Healing Yoga with Sarah, Level Up Gaming, Demelza O'Brien Makeup, Newbridge Motor Centre, The Palace, IT Star, LPVisual, Harrigans Bar and Grill, Slim Nails By DC, Larkfield Pellets, Jardin Royal, and Victoria De Paulo, G sports.

Residents can enter by engaging with the daily giveaway posts on the Newbridge Residents’ Forum social media pages.

Each day, the page will feature a different local business, talk about what they offer the community and highlight the amazing prize up for grabs.

The group said: “Let’s make March a month to remember — filled with community spirit, support for local businesses, and plenty of exciting giveaways!”
