Newbridge Christmas Lights switch on this Friday

Get ready for twinkly lights, festive tunes, and maybe even a Ho,Ho,Ho! Newbridge is turning on the festive switch this Friday, 5 December from 4.30pm on George’s Street and the whole town’s invited to join the fun.
The annual Christmas lights Official Turn On is always a community favourite, and this year’s celebration promises music, magic, and a sleigh-load of seasonal cheer.
Spinning the feel-good tunes will be none other than DJ Miley Wickham, while Lorraine Nolan and The Liffey Choir will fill the street with fabulous Christmas carols, even the Grinch might sing along.
But wait, there’s more! Rumour has it a very special someone might make a surprise appearance.. “You never know who might drop in… Ho,Ho,Ho,”.
Local photographers will be snapping away, so dress to impress – you might just end up in the paper!
This magical evening is free and family-friendly, so bring your little elves, your granny, your neighbours, and your holiday spirit, and “let’s light up Newbridge together”.
