Newbridge Kildare Lions Club launches charity auction
One of the prizes includes a guided tour of Coolmore Stud
THE Newbridge Kildare Lions Club is inviting the community to join in spreading Christmas cheer by taking part in their online auction to raise funds for the annual local Christmas food appeal.
From now until 5pm on 18 December community members can place bids on a range of fantastic items. Every euro raised will go towards providing food hampers, clothing, and shopping vouchers for families in the Newbridge Kildare Lions District.
“We are thrilled to host this online auction and grateful for the support of our community,” said Dr Adrian McGoldrick, President of the Lions Club.
“The funds raised will directly impact families in need, helping to ensure that everyone can enjoy the magic of Christmas.”
The auction features an impressive selection of items, including a guided tours of Coolmore Stud/Ballydoyle for four, and Kildangan for five people, a morning on the Curragh Gallops for four with renowned jockey Johnny Murtagh, four flexi tickets for the Leopardstown Christmas Racing Festival, a baseball cap signed by the legendary Frankie Dettori, CDs signed by our great folk singer Christy Moore and much more.
