Newbridge Library reopens at Liffey Lodge
Newbridge Libtrary
NEWBRIDGE Library has reopened in its new temporary home in Liffey Lodge on the Naas Road.
Kildare County Council’s library service made the announcement and the development will allow works to commence on the new library building at the original site, ensuring improved facilities for the community in the years ahead.
The Newbridge library team is excited to welcome back all members of the community, including school groups, regular visitors and new members, to the new temporary space.
Most services remain available at the temporary location, including access to public computers, printing and photocopying, along with our full lending collections of books, DVDs and games.
However, due to the building’s smaller size, there are no dedicated study spaces at present.
“Kildare Library Service remains committed to providing a welcoming, accessible and enjoyable library experience for all users,” said a spokesperson.
Opening hours are 10am to 5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with late opening on Thursday until 8pm.
The library is closed on Sundays as usual.
