Staff from Specsavers Newbridge recently hosted a fundraiser in aid of Alzheimer's Society of Ireland.
The team in the Newbridge store have undertaken several community fundraisers over the past few years to raise funds for the organisation to support the crucial work in providing support, resources, and care to individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease.
Specsavers Newbridge invited a local music group, Kildare North Ukelele Club, to perform alongside the community who checked out the bake sale of delicious treats donated to the cause.
Speaking on their fundraising efforts, Specsavers Newbridge Audiology Director Carol O’Neill said: “We understand the profound impact Alzheimer's has on individuals and their loved ones, and we are determined to do our part in supporting the organisation's vital work. We are in awe of how incredibly generous the local community of Newbridge has been so far.”
Alzheimer's is a debilitating condition that affects millions of people worldwide, and the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland plays a vital role in supporting those affected by the disease in Ireland.
Through their fundraising efforts, Specsavers Newbridge aims to make a meaningful contribution towards improving the lives of individuals and families impacted by the disease.
