Plans lodged for major warehouse and office development in Naas
A NEW commercial development has been proposed for Jigginstown in Naas, with plans submitted for a multi-unit warehouse and office complex.
Applicant, Knockalougha Agri Ltd, has applied for the construction of a single headquarters building incorporating office and warehouse space, with a total gross floor area of 630 square metres.
In addition, the development would include six industrial warehouse units with a combined floor area of 2,797 square metres.
The proposed site would be accessed via a new entrance from an existing spur road, while a total of 58 car parking spaces are planned.
These will include electric vehicle charging points as well as designated accessible parking bays. A bicycle shelter is also included in the plans.
If approved, the development is expected to contribute to the ongoing commercial and industrial growth of Naas.
Kildare County Council is expected to make its decision regarding the development on 3 June.
