Day two of Irish Champions Weekend heads the Curragh on Sunday with a belting eight-race card - and half of them are at the top level in Group 1.

The Moyglare Stud Stakes, the Flying Five Stakes, the National Stakes and the Irish St Leger all take place one after the other on Sunday for a brilliant two hours of racing at the Curragh.

Read below to discover the latest betting tips and preview of the four Group 1 contests on the Curragh card courtesy of Betway.

Moyglare Stud Stakes - 3.00pm

This one looks to be all about Bedtime Story for Aidan O’Brien, who is very hard to oppose in this small five runner field after the Frankel filly scored in stunning fashion when winning the Chesham before landing both the Silver Flash and the Debutante Stakes subsequently. Lake Victoria is the choice to fill the second spot having edged out the re-opposing Red Letter on her course and distance debut in June before winning the Group 3 Sweet Solera last time out.

Bar One Racing Flying Five Stakes - 3.35pm

Bradsell impressed when seeing off the re-opposing Believing in the nunthorpe at York last month and the Arhcie Watson-trained four-year-old should confirm his superiority once again here and land the €240,000 jackpot. Bucanero Forte should be bang up there as well in this one after a good run in the Haydock Sprint Cup, finishing sixth after returning from four months off.

Goffs Vincent O’Brien National Stakes - 4.10pm

Henri Matisse is a Group 1 winner in waiting and could well get that first top-level win for Aidan O’Brien in the National Stakes and preserve his unbeaten run for the Coolmore yard. The Godolphin stable sends Aomori City is taken to fill the second spot off the back

Comer Group International Irish St Leger - 4.45pm

Sky Sports Racing presenter Callum Helliwell previews the big race of the day at the Curragh and fancies an Aidan O’Brien staying star to bag the €348,000 top prize.

“I am really looking forward to this one, with the top four in the market all winning last time out. The clear favourite is Kyprios, a horse who has looked almost unbeatable in staying trips since returning from injury and won this race a couple of years ago. It would be very hard to see him defeated here and he can regain his crown.

“Giavelotto comes into this having won over a mile and half at York and then one mile and six at Newmarket, he has come into himself having taken a while to get his head in the right place. That win in the Yorkshire Cup was a great one, beating the Willie Mullins-trained Vauban that day.

“Vauban himself then bounced back to form next time out in good style, however that was against some pretty suspect stayers but this one mile six trip suits him - it is just whether he can get close to Kyprios.

“The one I like at each-way play is Continuous, who won the St Leger at Doncaster last year and then wasnt disgraced in the Arc. He then had some time off, won a pretty poor race at Ascot and then won again last time out, he has blown the cobwebs away and at 7-1 is a good price each way.

“For me though, Kyprios should win this and is currently available at around 11-10 but will go off much, much shorter than that on Sunday.”
