A QUESTIONNAIRE has been issued to ascertain the public's view on the requirements for a master plan for Lakeside Park in Newbridge.
Kildare County Council is inviting residents of Newbridge to have their say on the future of the open space at Lakeside and Dara Park.
The council is preparing a masterplan for this important community area and wants to ensure the design reflects the needs and interests of local people.
The council are asking residents to share their views through an online survey, which is anonymous and does not collect any personal data.
The survey will be open from: Friday, 5 December 2025 to 4pm on Friday, 16 January 2026 It only takes a few minutes to complete.

Progress on the matter was described as ridiculous by cllr Tom McDonnell at a recent meeting of the Kildare-Newbridge MD.
The councillor had asked for confirmation that the plan had been completed, but the response noted that issues with staff resources assigned to the project had delayed the matter.
Officials said the questionnaire feedback will inform the facilities and features to be included in the master plan.
The councillor said he was not happy with the report at all.
"I brought this up when I was new to the council," he said. "It was agreed, and money was put aside. We set aside €30,000 to get the work done. Here we are, a year or more later, and nothing has been done. We keep getting the same answer, it's ridiculous."
