Search for missing Kildare man stood down

There was a sad end to a search for 47-year-old Andrius Liaucius from Kildare after his body was discovered.
Gardaí confirmed shortly after lunchtime on Thursday that the missing person's appeal in respect of Andrius who was reported missing from his home in Ballitore, Co Kildare on Friday 23 January had been stood down.
He was last seen in the Tallaght area.
An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
