Senior politicians lend support to Kildare North candidate

Fianna Fáil’s top figures have rallied in Kildare North to support cllr Naoise Ó Cearúil’s campaign for Dáil Éireann, including Tánaiste Mícheál Martin, Minister for Agriculture Charlie McConalogue, and MEP Cynthia Ní Mhurchú, joined Naoise in a show of solidarity across the constituency, meeting residents, business owners, and community leaders.

Their united presence a push behind cllr Ó Cearúil’s bid to represent Kildare North in the national arena.

MEP Cynthia Ní Mhurchú joined cllr Ó Cearúil on a constituency tour through Maynooth, Celbridge, and Clane, engaging with local people and businesses.

She discussed supports available from the European Union, emphasising the party’s commitment to harnessing EU resources to uplift Irish communities.

"Naoise has the vision and dedication needed to secure real benefits for Kildare North,” Ní Mhurchú said.

“It was inspiring to see his connection with the community, and I know he will bring that same energy to represent his constituents on a national level.” 

On Halloween night, Minister Charlie McConalogue joined cllr Ó Cearúil for a canvass in Kilcock and went door-to-door in Newtown..

Rounding off this series of high-profile endorsements, Tánaiste Mícheál Martin stood with Naoise at the Wolfe Tone Commemoration in Bodenstown, an annual event with deep historical resonance.

The Tánaiste commended cllr Ó Cearúil’s leadership and dedication to Kildare North. He said: “Naoise is a dynamic and proven candidate. His years of service to Kildare speak volumes about his capability, and I have every confidence he will bring a strong and determined voice to Dáil Éireann.”
