Teen to appear in Kildare court in connection to fatal assault

A teenager is to appear before the court in Naas this morning charged in connection with the fatal assault of Ryan Gibbons.
The fatal incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday 26 October in Kildare town and Ryan passed away a couple days later in Naas Hospital.
Gardaí this morning said a male, aged in his late teens, has been charged.
He is due to appear in front of a special sitting of Naas District Court this morning, Friday 21 November at approximately 10.30am.
