Two men arrested after €1.25m of cannabis seized between Dublin and Limerick

Two men have been arrested after cannabis seizures in Co Dublin and Limerick.
One man, aged in his 30s, was arrested after approximately 20kg of suspected herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of €400,000, was seized in west Dublin.
In a follow up search by An Garda Síochána, a further 20kg of suspected herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 was seized.
The man is currently detained in a garda station in Dublin.
Separately, approximately 22.5kg of suspected herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €450,000 was seized in Co Limerick.
A man aged in his 30s was arrested and is currently detained in a garda station in Co Limerick.
In the instances of both seizures, gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
