Two men have died in separate crashes in Cork and Donegal on Saturday.

A man in his 20s died in a crash involving two cars at Kinnego Cross, Ballymagan, Co Donegal shortly before 9.10pm.

The male driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body has been brought to the mortuary at Letterkenny University Hospital for a postmortem, and the coroner has been notified.

A passenger in the car, a man in his 20s, was brought to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the second car, a man in his late teens, and a passenger, a woman in her late teens, were also brought to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The road is closed pending forensic examination with diversions in place.

Road users who may have camera footage, including dashcam, and were travelling near Kinnego Cross, Ballymagan, Co Donegal between 8.30pm and 9.15pm on Saturday have been asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.

In Cork, a man in his 30s has died in a crash involving a jeep and a motorcycle.

The crash occurred at around 8pm on Saturday on the N20 at Castlewrixon, Ballyhea.

The driver of the motorcycle, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body has been brought to the mortuary at Cork University Hospital for a postmortem and the coroner has been notified.

An adult male driver of the jeep in his 80s was brought to Cork University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The road is currently closed for forensic examination and diversions are in place.

Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the collisions to come forward.

Anyone who may have camera footage, including dashcam, and was travelling on the N20 near Castlewrixon, Ballyhea, Co. Cork between 7.15pm and 8pm on July 4th has been asked to make their footage available to investigating gardaí.
