Uninsured car stopped by Kildare gardaí was being driven by unaccompanied learner driver

When stopped by Divisional Road Policing Unit Naas, this car found to be was uninsured and was been driven by an unaccompanied learner driver
While on patrol in Calverstown, Kilcullen, members of the Naas Road Policing Unit stopped a car after an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) hit deemed it to have no insurance.
Further checks revealed the car was being driven by an unaccompanied learner driver.
Court appearance will follow for No Insurance and a Fixed Charge Penalty Notice (FCPN) was issued for the learner driver offence.
