Van bursting with cheese stopped by Kildare gardaí
Too much cheese
A van over loaded with cheese was pulled over in north Kildare recently.
The roads policing unit observed a van “that was clearly struggling” on the M4, according to an Garda Síochána Facebook page.
The driver’s view was restricted with piles of boxes in the passenger seat.
“When weighed, it was well over the max permissible weight... thanks to too much cheese on board!”
The cheddar gets real for the driver facing two FCPNS, fines totalling €280 and three penalty points.
“Always ensure your vehicle is loaded safely & that your view is clear – it could save lives.”
