What the papers say: Wednesday's front pages

US president Donald Trump's address to the UN and Maria Steen's bid to get on the ballot for the presidential election dominate Wednesday's front pages.
Mr Trump's UN address, in which he criticised EU immigration policy and the recognition of Palestinian statehood, makes the front pages of The Irish Times and Irish Examiner.
Meanwhile, Ms Steen's race against time to secure two more Oireachtas signatures to make the quota of 20 before the Wednesday noon deadline makes the front pages of The Irish Times, Irish Examiner and Irish Independent.
The Echo leads with a story on cases of bird flu at The Lough wildfowl sanctuary in Cork.
Maria Steen's campaign and the finale of The Traitors Ireland feature on the front pages of the Irish Daily Mail, Irish Daily Star, Irish Daily Mirror, and Irish Sun.
The Herald leads with a story on a suspect escaping a Garda station.
In the North, the Belfast Telegraph leads with a story on a planned bomb attack on a Belfast GAA club.
