Con O’Callaghan will be available for Cuala for Saturday evening’s Leinster Championship quarter-final against Naas.

The Dublin star was shown a straight red card during Cuala’s county final win against Kilmacud Crokes when they their first ever Dublin football title.

That would have put him in line for a suspension for Saturday’s game, the first to be played under lights at the newly developed Cedral St Conleth’s Park, but an appeal against the red card was heard on Tuesday evening at Dublin County Board hearing and with the aid of the video evidence that was presented it has been rescinded.

Naas have seen their Leinster hopes ended by the Dublin champions in the last three seasons, against Kilmacud Crokes on all occasions, but all those games were played at Dublin venues and they will look to reverse that trend on Saturday.
