Naas Racecourse hosts its latest Flat meeting of the season on Monday evening with a competitive seven-race card on offer.

The action gets underway at 5.10pm with a fillies maiden contest before concluding at 8.15pm with another fillies maiden, this time over the longer trip of a mile and two furlongs.

Read below for a full rundown of the Naas card on Monday courtesy of BOYLE Sports, who offer the latest horse racing odds.

Up first on Monday’s card is a fillies maiden over the sharp five furlong trip (5.10). Aedhmar, a 270,000 guineas buy as a yearling, went close on debut at Cork three weeks ago and looked a winner in waiting that day so she gets the nod to open her account here for trainer Jessica Harrington.

The second race of the evening (5.45) sees 12 runners tackle the five furlong handicap for three-year-olds. Allsortz made all at Dundalk 17 days ago and the runner-up that day has since gone on to score as well so this marks a good chance to follow up for David Marnane’s runner. Amiata rates the main danger for the Ger Lyons yard, fifth at Bellewstown last time out but was a winner at this track last Summer.

Staysound Susie got back to winning ways at the Curragh last time out on April 3 and looks to be a good bet to follow up in race three at Naas (6.15) as 13 runners take on the five furlong handicap, with recent Dundalk scorer Bishopton ranking among the main dangers.

The powerful Amo Racing team sends Force Noir to Naas for race four on the card (6.45), a €130,000 yearling colt that is a half-brother to several winners but was turned over at odds-on on debut, but should still improve from that run at the Curragh six weeks ago. The very in-form Joseph O’Brien yard could have a say here too with Mr Montauk, making a debut and appeals on paper as a brother to six furlong winners Sergeant Wilko and Jungle Monarch.

Another powerful Amo runner lines up in race five (7.15) for trainer Robson Aguiar in Bucanero Fuerte, a previous group 3 winner and also a Listed winner at this track. He should be better than when a lowly seventh on seasonal reappearance at Cork on April 4 when the ground very much didn’t suit him.

The penultimate race of the evening (7.45) sees ten runners head to the stalls for the mile handicap for three-year-olds. This one can go the way of Invincible Will for trainer Gaving Cromwell, a good second at Cork 23 days ago and his mark is unchanged from that day so has the tools to go one better this time around.

Finally, the card comes to a close at 8.15 with a fillies' maiden over the mile and a quarter trip, with preference in the finale heading the way of Glyfada, a Camelot filly who was a very promising runner-up on debut for the Donnacha O’Brien team and that experience is arguably the strongest of the field.
