Tuesday's front pages focus on a range of stories from local property tax seeing a modest increase next year to a new report showing over 100,000 children are living in poverty across Ireland.

The Irish Times reports most homeowners will see modest increases in their local property tax (LPT) next year under changes likely to be approved by the Cabinet this morning to mitigate the effects rising property values have on tax bills.

The Irish Examiner leads with a piece about the number of children living in consistent poverty rising to over 100,000, with advocates warning it could take four to five generations to break the cycle.

The Echo report an increase in the number of children in Cork and Kerry being referred to CAREDS for eating disorders.
