Kildare bookshop hosts bestselling authors on Friday

Popular Kildare bookshop Barker & Jones is set to welcome two of Ireland’s bestselling authors for a special in-store event on Friday evening as part of the highly anticipated Our Deadly Summer book tour.
Kill native Emer McLysaght, co-creator of the hugely popular Aisling series, will be joined by fellow bestselling author Tanya Sweeney, whose latest novel Esther is Now Following You has been drawing strong attention from readers. The pair will appear in-store on Friday (29 May) at 7pm, offering fans a unique chance to hear directly from the writers behind some of the country’s most talked-about books.
Attendees can expect an engaging discussion, insights into the authors’ writing processes, and a celebration of contemporary Irish fiction as part of the wider summer tour.
