Nominations have opened for the County Kildare Chamber Business Awards powered by EirGrid.

The Business Awards celebrate the best in business in Kildare and are open for start-up business, emerging businesses and SMEs right up to large indigenous and multi-nationals in the county.

‘Robust’ judging by six independent judges will lead to the finalists and the eventual winners being announced on 15 November in the Killashee Hotel where 500 key stakeholders and companies will celebrate the best in business in 2024.

“Last year, we saw a record-breaking number of entrants,” said Kildare Chamber President Mairead Hennessey. “These awards offer a fantastic opportunity for any business to share their story, showcase their growth, and present their ambition to our judging panel. We strongly encourage all businesses to participate in one of the region's most prestigious and well-respected business awards.

“We are looking forward to celebrating Kildare’s business talent at this year's awards and wish the best of luck to all the nominees.”

Sinéad Ronan, CEO of County Kildare Chamber, said that this year they expect a record number of entries.

“With a vast array of categories, from SME of the Year to several sustainability-focused awards, and the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to Business, there’s something for everyone,” she explained. “Coupled with the extensive profile that finalists receive across multiple print and digital platforms, our Business Awards also gives our members the opportunity to challenge themselves through the various categories on offer to nominate for.

“We are delighted to be returning to the Killashee Hotel for the gala and look forward to our business leaders joining us in recognising and honouring the remarkable achievements that make Kildare a thriving hub of innovation and enterprise.”

Nominations opened online last Friday 16 August 2024 – the closing date for all completed applications is Friday 27 September 2024 at 5pm.
