Fundraiser for Newbridge Family Resource Centre this week

NEWBRIDGE Family Resource Centre (FRC) will hold a Musical Gala fundraiser this week in support of our recently completed building extension, which will provide much-needed community space for the people of Newbridge.
The event will be held at the Keadeen Hotel on Thursday 17 October, with doors opening at 7pm. The night’s festivities will run from 8pm until late, featuring talented performers.
The hosts for the evening, Liam Kett and Mick Malone, will introduce a stellar lineup of musical guests, including Johnny Peters, Lorraine Nolan, Phillip English, Bernie Heaney, Ray Cox, Derek Dunne, Sarah Burke, Paul McCormack, Seas Suas, Emily O’Sullivan, Rachel Burke, Mairead Carroll, and Leah Morgan’s Stage School.
The musical gala promises an evening of incredible entertainment with all proceeds going towards enhancing the FRC’s services.
For the past 40 years, Newbridge FRC has been a community cornerstone, offering essential services and supports that empower individuals, families, and groups across the Newbridge area. The centre provides a variety of programs, including Preschool, Homework Clubs, Youth Groups, Women’s and Men’s Social Groups, Horticulture and Media Literacy classes, as well as vital services like adult counselling, play therapy, and support for those facing challenges such as domestic violence or homelessness.
Tickets for this exciting event are €30 each or €50 for two. All proceeds will support the continued development of Newbridge FRC’s community services, enabling us to better serve the needs of Newbridge and the surrounding areas.
