HOPE’s annual Fashion Show and Lunch welcomed 250 guests to Lawlor’s of Naas on Friday 27 February, for an afternoon of style, entertainment and generosity, raising an incredible €35,000 to support the organisation’s vital work with street-connected children and families in Kolkata, India.

The sold-out event brought together members of the local community, supporters and businesses to celebrate fashion while making a meaningful difference to vulnerable communities in Kolkata.

Guests enjoyed a spectacular fashion showcase featuring collections from local boutiques Diamonds & Pearls, Aria, Jennifers Hat Emporium, House of Logo, Nicola Ross and Roisin Linnane, with models from the Catwalk Modelling Agency taking to the runway to highlight the latest styles for the season. Adding to the celebratory atmosphere was live entertainment from renowned Irish singer Mary Byrne, whose performance captivated the audience.

The organiser of the event, Sheila Zebedee, Head of Fundraising and Corporate Engagement HOPE Leinster, expressed her gratitude to everyone involved.

“From the boutiques, and performers to the event sponsors, volunteers and the 250 guests who attended - every contribution helped to make the day a tremendous success.

Most importantly, the €35,000 raised will make a real and lasting positive impact on the lives of the children and families which HOPE supports in Kolkata.”

HOPE works to transform the lives of street-connected children and slum dwelling communities through providing access to vital education, healthcare, protection and vocational training programmes.

HOPE continues to raise awareness about and funds for their vital work in Kolkata at their upcoming Annual Dublin Lunch, which will be held on Friday 24 April, in the 5-star St. Helens Hotel in Stillorgan, Dublin.
