Kildare sisters become principal for the day

NEWBRIDGE students Emilija and Julija Damjanovic took over as Principal and Deputy Principal for the day at Patrician Primary School.
The sisters had great fun running the school, getting stuck into all the important duties that come with the job. They made intercom announcements, worked in the Principal's office, met with the Board of Management and even treated themselves to a special lunch order from McDonald's.
They also made the very popular decision of granting no homework for the evening!
They checked out the many extra-curricular activities on offer in the school, such as music lessons, science fairs, chess clubs, sewing clubs, laptop sessions and sporting activities.
A camera crew from RTÉ's News2Day also called to the school to cover the special event.
