THE COMMUNITY of Newbridge turned out in force to support Newbridge Family Resource Centre’s recent musical gala night. The event in the Keadeen Hotel was held to raise funds for the new building extension at the centre, which will provide a much-needed community space for the people of Newbridge. All proceeds from the event will support the continued development of Newbridge FRC’s community centre and services.

Ellen Duggan, manager at Newbridge FRC, said: “Everybody that was involved on the night got a really good buzz from it – it was phenomenal. We had a really great turnout at the fundraiser, with over 200 members of the community there, along with the amazing artists performing for the gala. We’re delighted with the funds raised and the spot prizes donated by local businesses and members of the community.” She gave a special thanks everyone at the Keadeen Hotel, which donated the venue for the event along with spot prizes on the night.
