RISE Community Fund to award cash grants in Kildare

SMALL BUSINESSES, social enterprises, and community groups in County Kildare are being encouraged to apply for cash grants as part of the RISE Community Fund’s latest initiative.
The RISE Community Fund is a not-for-profit working in partnership with corporate sponsors with a shared vision to tackle the urban/rural digital divide and use technology and entrepreneurship to create jobs in rural Ireland.
Grants of up to €1,000 will be awarded to those with innovative plans to use technology for community benefit.
Supported by National Broadband Ireland (NBI) and corporate partners such as KN Circet, KPMG, and DreamDev Technologies, the fund has already provided over 130 grants nationwide. Previous recipients include farm owners who use technologies to improve the productivity and environmental impact of their farms, community groups upskilling local residents in new technologies, schools introducing children to coding and cutting edge advancements, and small businesses using technology to grow their operations nationally and internationally.
Applications open on 3 February and close on 28 February 2025, with successful applicants being notified in March. More information at
