Captain Nathan Collins and goalkeeper Mark Travers return to the Republic of Ireland squad for the upcoming and decisive UEFA Nations League fixtures against Austria and Kosovo.

Ireland travel to Linz to face Austria on Saturday, 14 November at the Raiffeisen Arena, before returning home to Dublin to host Kosovo at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday, 17 November and Head Coach Heimir Hallgrímsson is able to call up his dependable skipper once again.

Collins has not featured for Brentford in the Premier League since picking up the injury in early September that ruled him out of the last international window. He returned to action with a 71-minute appearance against Sunderland in the Carabao Cup last week, but was back on the bench for the league clash with Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Travers continues to serve as Jordan Pickford's understudy at Everton and has not played a competitive game in more than a year. He was overlooked for Everton's Carabao Cup campaign as they qualified for the quarter-finals, but returns to the Ireland squad in place of the injured Gavin Bazunu.

Attacking midfielder Harvey Vale also returns to the setup having successfully completed his own rehabilitation.

The squad will assemble in Dublin on Monday ahead of the trip to Austria for the first of the two crucial fixtures.
