In eight of the 10 services inspected, some degree of improvement was required to ensure service users were protected from the risk of harm associated with the delivery of healthcare services.

Overall, 499 admitted patients were waiting for beds in Irish hospitals on Thursday morning.

This incident occurred at approximately 10:45pm in the Basin Street / Harbour View area and involved a number of individuals.
