Cocaine worth €105,000 seized and man (30s) arrested in Limerick city

Cocaine with an estimated street value of €105,000 was seized by gardaí, and one man was arrested in Limerick city on Wednesday, March 5th.
The drugs were seized during the search of a residence in the Shelbourne Road area as part of ongoing operations targeting the sale and supply of drugs in Co Limerick.
The search was conducted by gardaí attached to the Divisional Drug Unit, assisted by members of the Armed Support Unit.
During the search, gardaí seized around 1.5kg of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of €105,000. The drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
A man in his 30s was arrested and brought to a garda station in Limerick city, where he is being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
