Drink driver in Kildare had beer at wheel

Kildare gardaí stopped a driver who had a beer literally at the wheel.
The incredible discovery occurred recently as the Naas Roads Policing Unit performed a Mit Checkpoint in North Kildare.
An Garda Siochana Kildare Facebook page said: ‘They stopped this driver who was astonishingly - actually drink driving with his beer in the centre column. This motorist failed a roadside breath test and was arrested.
‘Motorist was found to be almost three times over the legal limit for alcohol. Motorist charged to appear in court shortly.’
