Green light for Kildare housing development
Ferns Bridge, Monasterevin
A NEW residential development of 24 homes has been granted planning permission in Monasterevin.
Applicant Masonbrook Holdings Ltd received approval for the mixed housing scheme comprising 14 two- and three-bedroom terraced houses, along with a three-storey block containing 10 one-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom duplex units.
The development’s address is at Ferns Bridge, Monasterevin, at the existing residential estate just over 1km from Monasterevin town centre.
Vehicular access to the development will be from Ferns Avenue to the north, connecting to the R414 Oldgrange Road to the east, as well as internal roads within the wider Ferns Bridge development.
The project will also include associated site works such as public open spaces, landscaping, boundary treatments, car and bicycle parking, and bin storage facilities. The overall site extends to approximately 0.71 hectares.
