Iceberg ahead in Athy

The new Shackleton museum is starting to take shape with the frame for the architectural iceberg shard being installed during the week.
It's set to be an iconic feature in Co Kildare and for the the historic museum. The museum is anticipated to open at the end of next year.
The Shackleton Autumn School will also run in Athy shortly on the weekend of 8-10 November. More information here.
