Incident shuts Kildare motorway junction

Gardaí have announced a busy Kildare motorway junction is closed on Thursday afternoon.
The slip road at Junction 2 near Kilcullen on the northbound lane of the M9 is expected to be closed for a “number of hours”.
Gardaí said on social media that “we are currently dealing with an incident on the M9 junction 2 Kilcullen Northbound – the slip road is completely shut and will be for a number of hours. Please take alternative routes.”
