GARDAÍ are investigating a burglary that occurred at a residential property in Colststown, Castledermot, on Friday, October 3.

The incident is believed to have taken place between 8:00am and 10:00pm, during which a number of items of jewellery were reported stolen from the home.

It is believed that among the stolen items was a wedding ring valued at approximately €1,400, along with several other pieces of significant sentimental value. However, gardaí are giving no further details at this time.

Investigations are currently ongoing, and Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area on the day in question to come forward.
