Kildare finalists announced for Irish Hair and Beauty Awards 2025

IN it’s eighth year running, the Irish Hair and Beauty Awards are back for 2025, with a huge list of nominations from salons, clinics, beauticians and hairdressers across Kildare.
The awards recognise the best of the best in the hair and beauty industry in Ireland. They will acknowledge the hard work, dedication, creativity, and customer service of the talented individuals and businesses that operate in the industry.
The county received nominations in 15 categories of the competition, from hairdressing to makeup to massage therapies in Newbridge, Naas, Kilcock, Kildare, Athy, Clane, Maynooth, and Leixlip.
For Hairdresser of the Year, Newbridge salon Aviary Hair and Beauty, and two Kilcock salons Dee’s Hair Salon and Studio M, are up for nominations. For Colour Salon of the Year, Clane salon Framed Faces has been nominated and for Hair Dressing Experience of the Year, Vogue in Athy is the only Kildare contender. For Local Hair Studio of the Year, The Hair Studio in Clane also received a nomination.
Nominated for Beauty Salon of the Year is BellEve Studio in Maynooth and House 41 Beauty Clinic in Kildare. Maynooth also saw nominations from Absolute Beauty by Sarah and Álainn Beauty Rooms for the Beautician of the Year award.
For Hair and Beauty Salon of the Year, there was nominations for Serenity Hair and Beauty Clinic in Clane and Athy salons Moda Beauty Salon and House of L.A.
Nail Technician of the year has nominated Kildare salon Born to Shine, Nails in Newbridge, My’s Nails and Spa in Naas, and Katy Nail and Spa in Leixlip.
Moving onto the area of aesthetics, Aesthetic Clinic of the Year has seen nominations for JM Aesthetics and Beauty in Naas, while Newbridge clinic, The Park Skin Clinic got a nomination for Aesthetics Professional of the Year. For SPMU Technician of the Year, Maynooth’s Michelle Cullen Brow Academy saw a nomination.
In the makeup categories, Kildare also shined, with nominations for Hair and Makeup Specialist of the Year going to Nicola Weldon Makeup in Kilcock. Similarly, in the category for Semi/Permanent Makeup Specialist of the Year, the county saw nominations for Art Permanent Make Up by Kamila Kaca in Newbridge and Aldona Pater Permanent Make Up in Naas.
Moving onto spas and massage therapies, The Killashee Spa in Naas received a nomination for Spa of the Year, while Anya Thai Clinic in Naas, Pain Solution Academy in Naas, and Obus Wellness Centre in Kildare received nominations for Massage Specialist of the Year.
Last but not least, Amy Tuthill Academy in Athy was nominated for Training Academy of the Year.
The winners will be announced at the prestigious awards ceremony that will take place on October 12 at the Park View Hotel, Wicklow.
