Kildare lady makes best dressed final at Galway Races

A Kildare woman made it to the top 10 finalists of Ladies Day at the Galway Races Summer Festival on Thursday.

Anne-Marie Dunning from Newbridge was selected in the style spectacular with her coral pink tailored top and wide-leg trousers drawing admirers along with her beautiful wide brimmed hat.

However, Anne-Marie was edged out by Lisa Walsh is an accountant from County Meath, wowed the judges in a custom dress by 'Only One Ashley' paired with a hat by Fiona Rafter.

Lisa takes home a €10,000 prize.

In the best hat competition Maksuda Akhter, was awarded the title for a striking headpiece by Fiona Rafter recognised for its creativity, craftsmanship and race-day flair.
