Kildare Rescue Tails: Volunteer recruitment day 

THE KWWSPCA dog section invites all dog lovers with an interest in animal welfare and a few hours to give each week to attend our upcoming volunteer recruitment day on Sunday 4 October from 11am – 2pm.

The event is an ideal opportunity for anyone who may be curious about volunteering with us to visit the shelter and learn more about our society and the day-to-day duties of a shelter volunteer.

There will, of course, be a chance to meet a few of our dogs and to chat to some of our current volunteers about their incredibly rewarding and important work.

If you think volunteering with rescue dogs might be for you, then come along and join us on the day and find out how you can get involved. Eircode for the shelter is W12 EV60.

Please note that the recruitment day is purely for those interested in volunteering with our dog section.

Another way to support our society is by attending one of our fundraising events. The next one is the KWWSPCA Book Sale, which takes place in Kilcullen Town Hall on Friday 25 September from 11am – 5pm and Saturday 26 September from 11am – 4pm.

There will be a wide range of books on sale for every age and interest, so come along and have a browse.

Adult books will be priced at just €1 each and children’s books 50c each. Eircode for the book sale venue is R56 X763. We hope to see you at one of these events.
