Tara and Sam have always been inseparable

It’s hard for volunteers to say Phil’s name without smiling because he really is a lot of fun.

The KWWSPCA are doing fantastic work

Jasper is an expressive and affectionate boy with the most beautiful red fawn colouring

Tyson is friendly to everyone he meets and will bring a toy as a greeting

A group of KWWSPCA volunteers will be on hand to discuss the work of our charity and hopefully answer any questions you might have.

Great stuff by the volunteers

They are just the best dogs!

The KWWSPCA will also be holding a pop up shop this weekend

For a great cause

Good boy Indy!

There is a very high demand from the public for this service

No entry fee but donations welcome!

HAPPY St Patrick’s Day everyone, we are looking forward to taking part in the Newbridge Parade today (Tuesday) while hoping for good weather. We will have some dogs taking part but only those who are comfortable being in public.

KWWSPCA will also be running a series of fundraisers

A female cat can have up to three litters in one year, usually producing three to five kittens in each litter

Conor is a unique-looking boy owing to a damaged eye

Nina is a bit of a legend

The KWWSPCA shop in Newbridge, Noah’s Ark, has also recently had a relaunch for Spring

Little Ruby did not leave her side while all the time smothering her with kisses and hugs as Geraldine cried for help

Congrats to all the volunteers!

The organisation's Sally McCaffrey also said that more than 400 feral cats had been neutered, many of which were rehomed on farms or as domestic pets.

She seems to be happy to meet other dogs, and she travels well in a car

We could not accommodate the full number of enterprises wishing to participate at the fair and have unfortunately had to disappoint several.

AT long last Reggie has found his forever home! He had spent the best part of 3 years in animal shelters even though he’s only five years old.

They are a high-energy breed who require a lot of mental stimulation and activity, but they are also a very loyal and friendly breed who make great family pets.

All dogs participating must be on leads, as per the park’s rule

The KWWSPCA depends so very much on the generosity of the public to carry out its work.

This is very much a fun dog show and is open to all dogs over six months of age no matter what shape or breed, with no fussy conditions to comply with

WE feature a dog this week called Sonny, who was a previous subject of this article last May, but unfortunately, still hasn’t been chosen for a home.

Why not stock up now for your winter reading while supporting the animals in our care.

Mondello Park has kindly invited the KWWSPCA to fundraise at their great family event this weekend

Stevie loves human interaction and is always welcoming to our shelter volunteers, who are aware of his special needs and who always talk to him when approaching or taking him for his walks.

The recently approved project has been appealed

Sounds like great fun!

Many of the charity's supporters are also using the Return Bottle/Can Scheme at the moment to raise funds for us.

I just have something in my eye.... sniff

A new KWWSPCA centre has been given the green light for development in Kildare

Stevie requires a rural home as urban noise, traffic, and proximity to a motorway or railway line will not suit him

If kittens are found in a feral situation and are young enough to be tamed, they will also be rehomed as domestic cats.
