Man (30s) dies after attack in Clondalkin

A man has died after he was attacked in Clondalkin in Dublinon Monday morning.

Gardaí were called to the scene, a house in the Shancastle area, shortly before 6am.

A man in his 30s was found unresponsive, and was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Another man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the investigation, and officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The scene has been sealed off while technical examinations take place - a family liaison officer will be appointed.
