Man (30s) dies after collision between bus and car in Co Kildare

A male pedestrian in his 30s has died following a fatal road traffic collision in Co Kildare.
The collision, which occurred on Friday morning on the 402 at Kishawanny, Carbury, involved a bus, a car, and the pedestrian.
The male pedestrian has since been pronounced deceased. His body remains at the scene.
The coroner has been notified, gardaí said.
No other injuries were reported at the time.
The scene is being held pending technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
The R402 at Kishawanny Road junction is currently closed with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 5:45am and 6:45am on Friday morning are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
