Man appears in court in relation to Kildare ketamine seizure

The ketamine seized in south Kildare

GARDAÍ in Kildare along with officers from Revenue, recovered over €500,000 in ketamine on Thursday.

As part of an intelligence-led operation, approximately 9kg of suspected ketamine, with an estimated value of €540,000, was seized in south Kildare in a residential property.

This seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Newbridge Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Custom Service.

One male, aged in his 20s, was arrested by gardaí and appeared before a sitting of Carlow District Court on Friday.
