Man's body found in Kildare canal

Gardaí in Kildare have commenced an investigation after the discovery of a man’s body in the Grand Canal.
The body of the man, believed to be in his 60s, was discovered on Monday at Alasty near Kill.
The man’s body has since been taken to Naas General Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
