Motorcyclist dies following Kildare collision

A motorcyclist has died following a single vehicle road collision in Co Kildare.
Gardaí are appealing for information following the fatal collision on Saturday morning at Killick, Kilcock.
The collision involved a motorcycle and occurred at approximately 10.45am.
The male motor cyclist, aged in his 50s was pronounced deceased at the scene. His body has been conveyed to the mortuary at Naas General Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course. The coroner has been notified.
The road was closed for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in Killick, Kilcock, Co. Kildare this morning between 10.30am and 11am are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
