Parts of M7/N7 in Kildare to be closed this week
The M7/N7 will have travel restrictions this week
A series of night-time road closures will be in place on the M7 and N7 next week as essential roadworks get underway, according to Kildare gardaí.
The works will run nightly from 10pm to 6am, beginning on Monday, 23 March, and will involve multiple junction closures and diversions across the week.
On Monday and Tuesday, 23–24 March, the M7 eastbound entry at Junction 10 (Naas South) will close, with a diversion via the R445 and Junction 9a (Milleniusm Park). Westbound, both the exit and entry ramps at Junction 10 will be shut, with traffic diverted through the M9 and Junction 9a.
On Wednesday, 25 March, the westbound entry at Junction 9a will close, with drivers redirected to Junction 9 (Naas North).
Further restrictions follow on Thursday, 26 March, including the closure of the M7 eastbound entry and exit at Junction 9, the N7 westbound entry at Junction 7 (Kill), and a stop/go system at Junction 4 (Saggart) on the N7.
The week concludes on Friday, 27 March, with westbound entry and exit closures at Junction 9 on the M7, and entry and exit closures at Junction 6 (Castledwarden) on the N7.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for journeys, follow diversion signage, and drive with caution throughout the works.
