Search for Donegal man (22) missing in Sligo stood down

The search for a missing man from Co Donegal has been stood down this evening following the discovery of a body.

The missing person appeal was in respect of Kian Gillespie, who was reported missing from Ballinode, Co Sligo.

"Following the discovery of a body, the missing person appeal in respect of Kian Gillespie, who was reported missing from Ballinode, Sligo has been stood down. Gardaí would like to thank the media for their assistance," the Garda Press Office said.
