Sports partnership launch Barrow inclusive cycling initiative next week
The Barrow Blueway Inclusive initiative will be launched at Dilly Dally Café
Kildare Sports Partnership are launching their new inclusive cycling initiative on Wednesday 6 November on the Athy Barrow Blueway.
The launch will be held at 11.30am on the Athy Blueway at Dilly Dally Café, where the bikes are stored. This initiative will welcome individuals and families living with disabilities or additional needs and provide them with the opportunity to utilise a wheelchair-accessible bike, tandem pilot bikes or a handcycle bike.
The launch which will be attended by local public reps, Paralympic athlete Patrick Monahan, and representatives from organisations including Active Disability Ireland, Irish Wheelchair Association, The Athy Lions Club, and a group of children from Cabra Deaf School.
