A teenager being questioned about the death of a man in a road collision in Co Donegal on Monday has been released without charge.

Anthony Gallagher who was aged in his 60's died after being hit by a car in Letterkenny in the early hours of St Patrick's Day. 

His brother - who is also aged in his 60's - was seriously injured.

A man in his late teens was arrested at the scene and questioned by Gardaí.

He has been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP and the Garda Youth Diversion Bureau.
