Tributes were paid to a Kildare teen who tragically died in a road traffic collision on Tuesday night.

Jamie Branagan (19) of Oldtown Mill, Celbridge died in the collision following a single-vehicle collision on the Clane Road in Celbridge on Tuesday night on 6 August.

Jamie is survived by his heartbroken parents Joe and Sabrina, brother Killian, grandfathers Jimmy and Barney, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, work colleagues in the ESB, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Work colleagues paid tribute to Jamie saying he had a bright future ahead of him.

Jamie is pre-deceased by his beloved grandparents late Ann Branagan and Esther Williams and his dear friend Alex Helps who died two years ago after being knocked down by a car.

Jamie will repose home on Saturday from 4pm until 7pm. House private on Sunday and Monday. Removal on Monday morning to St Patrick's Church, Celbridge, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.
