UPDATED: Water still out in some parts of Naas

Water supplies have not yet returned in parts in Naas on Wednesday after almost two days.
Uisce Eireann's predictions of when water will be restored in the town on Wednesday have so far failed to come to pass.
The next target the water body has set is 7-8pm this evening (Wednesday) but you would now take this with a pinch of salt.
The water supply did not return in many parts of Kildare this morning as had been believed.
Water was out in Kildare all day yesterday due to what Uisce Eireann describe as "critical and complex repairs" to a major trunk watermain that connects Ballymore Eustace Water Treatment Plant and the Saggart Reservoir.
The water agency says specialist teams worked through Monday and Tuesday night to excavate and repair the pipeline to ensure water could be returned as quickly as possible.
Uisce Éireann thanked the public for their patience and support in conserving water throughout the repair and apologise for the inconvenience experienced.
Areas impacted include Arthurstown, Tipperkevin, Rathmore and surrounds, Naas, Castlewarden, Sallins, Ardclough, Ballagh Cross, Baltracey Lane, Clane, Carbury, Rathcoffey, Hortland, Johnstown Bridge, Kill, Sherlockstown, Tirmoghan, Tuckmilltown and surrounding areas.
The Uisce Éireann customer care helpline is also open 24/7 on 1800 278 278 and customers can also contact us on X @IWCare with any queries. For updates please visit the Water Supply Updates section of www.water.ie.
