O'Haire kicks first points for American college 

Johnstownbridge's Sean O'Haire made history for the University of Richmond this evening when he became the first Irish player to kick points for the college during their 38-0 win over Charleston Southern.

O'Haire often showed the power and accuracy he possesses in his right boot when in a Johnstownbridge jersey and this evening showed them for the first time in a different code of football. 

O'Haire was signed on a scholarship by the Virginia based college to play for their football team, known as the Richmond Spiders. These were his first points in a competitive American Football game but are unlikely to the last for the talented kicker.
